Silvia María Pérez is a Colombian biologist and botanical artist based in Grenoble, France. Growing up in one of the most biodiverse countries in the world inspired her deep fascination with plants and wildlife. Trained in Biology and Microbiology and holding a PhD in biology, she combines scientific observation with artistic expression to create detailed illustrations of flora and fauna.

Silvia works primarily in watercolor and ink, focusing on botanical illustration and nature-inspired subjects. Alongside her artistic practice, she enjoys sharing her knowledge through workshops and online courses, inviting others to connect with nature through art.
